In the Department of Classics we believe in varying our teaching and assessment methods to bring out the best in our students and encourage the development of transferable skills.

In addition to traditional lectures and seminars, we utilise the latest visualisation technology to examine classical materials, including access to the Digital Humanities Centre.

Our innovative project-based second year modules foster independent learning by increasing the amount of control students have over the format of their work.
