Cripps Health Centre

The University of Nottingham Health Service is situated in the Cripps Health Centre on the main University Campus, University Park. The practice provides health services for students and staff at the University and their families. The fully accessible building also houses:

• a dental practice
• a Boots pharmacy
• the University's occupational health unit

Services

Cripps Health Centre provides a full range of NHS services including:

• family planning
• emergency contraception
• genitourinary (GU) clinic
• travel vaccinations
• physiotherapy
• counselling* and mental health services
• minor surgery
• maternity care
• a weekly antenatal clinic
• child development assessments and immunisation

*In addition to counselling provided by doctors there is a University Counselling Service , based in the Trent Building.

The University also provides a Sports Injury Clinic located in the University Park Sports Centre.

Out-of-hours medical service

An out-of-hours medical service is provided by Nottingham Emergency Medical Services, based at Fanum House, a short distance from University Park and Jubilee Campuses.  Patients should call the Health Centre number and will be transfered through to their service.
