Students' Union

Nottingham’s Students’ Union is the focus of student life on campus. In 2008 it received the NUS Participation Award, which is not surprising considering the amount of activities and events that students can participate in.

There is something suitable for every interest, including:

Postgraduate Students’ Association

The Postgraduate Students’ Association (PGSA) represents all postgraduate students at The University of Nottingham. On behalf of the Students' Union, they:

Mature Students’ Association

Mature students can also join the Mature Students' Association, contact the Mature Students' Officer for further information.

International Students’ Bureau

The International Students' Bureau (ISB) is run by international students, for international students. 

Any international student is assured of a welcome into this association, from the minute they join the University, until the minute they leave.

The ISB:

  • is involved in the Welcome Programme
  • holds many social events
  • represents all international students in the Students' Union
  • produces Voice magazine
