RUBEANIC ACID TECHNIQUE

1. Sections to water.

2. Place in staining solution overnight at 37ªc.

3. Wash in water.

4. Counterstain in neutral red or nuclear fast red.

5. Rinse in absolute alcohol.

6. Clear in xylene. Mount sections in DPX

RUBEANIC ACID STOCK

--Rubeanic acid 50 mg

--Absolute alcohol 50 mls

STAINING SOLUTION

--Rubeanic acid stock 2.5 mls

--10% sodium acetate 50 mls
