A group of current and former members of the United Nations human rights treaty monitoring bodies have issued The Dublin Statement on the Process of Strengthening of the United Nations Human Rights Treaty Body System. The Dublin Statement was issued following a meeting that took place in Dublin, Ireland on 18 and 19 November 2009, in which many of the signatories participated. The Dublin Statement process has been convened by the Human Rights Law Centre at the University of Nottingham, and funding support has been provided by the Government of Ireland To read the Dublin Statement please click here
