Past Research

My past research interests were in molecular genetic analysis of plant development, focusing on pollen and anther development. The research projects were on MALE STERILITY1 gene, a transcription factor for pollen development; MS35/MYB26 gene, which plays key role for anther wall development and Tetraspore gene which encodes a kinesin required for male meiotic cytokinesis in Arabidopsis.
