Senior Research Technician, Faculty of Science
Senior Research Technician at the University of Nottingham. In my day to day role I am responsible for training staff and students in the use of plant physiology kit with a strong focus on gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence. I also manage a crop processing lab and support with ongoing sugar beet trials at the University Farm.
Alongside my role I am completing an iCASE studentship at the University of Nottingham on a project entitled "Improving wheat photosynthesis through wide crossing with wild relatives and selection using novel environments. This project is being completed under supervision from Professor Erik Murchie, Professor Julie King,Professor Barry Lomax at Nottingham and supervision from BASF.
