Teaching Summary

I teach on a range of modules for both UG and PGT Biotechnology students, specialising in topics related to animal biotechnology.

I am module convenor for (and teach on) the following 4 modules: BIOS4116 Research Techniques in Biotechnology, BIOS4121 Industrial and Commercial aspects of Animal Biotechnology, BIOS4122 Animal Biotechnology, BIOS2082 Research skills for Biotechnologists.

In addition, I teach on the following 3 modules: BIOS1053 An Introduction to Biotechnology, BIOS4006 Basic Laboratory Techniques, BIOS4128 Cell Factories.

I also supervise Biotechnology student research projects on several topics including Cancer and Alzheimer's disease. I am also the subject coordinator for BSc and MSci Biotechnology student research projects.
