Biography
Rachel has significant experience in international education. She was part of the Study Abroad Team in the University of Nottingham's International Office, and more recently has worked in the School of Biosciences as Placements, Partnerships and Mobility (PPM) lead, including management of the School's Placement Team; management of student outgoing/incoming mobility; and coordination and oversight of international teaching partnerships, as well as facilitating international student recruitment and international student support activity.
Rachel has also previously worked at the University of Birmingham and De Montfort University, in roles relating to international mobility. She has lived abroad in France and Italy and speaks French and Italian. She is particularly passionate about outgoing global student mobility from the UK.

Expertise Summary
In my role as Senior Strategic Projects and International Manager, I work with Professor Mike George and Dr Dean Farrelly to implement the University's Global Engagement Strategic Delivery Plan within the Faculty of Science. This involves working with the Faculty Globalisation Committee (FGC), and working collaboratively on multiple global projects with colleagues across the Faculty and the University, including the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) and the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC).
