The Nottingham University Business School hosted its first Placement Year Awards in September 2023 dedicated to recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements of its students during their transformative industry placements.

A panel, consisting of alumni Joseph Hanna, a consultant at Kubrick Group, and Gaurav Prapanchakuta, a Liquidity and Risk Analyst at CMC Markets, returned to campus to carefully select this year's exceptional winners.

The rigorous selection process took over three hours to assess a multitude of impressive nominations submitted by employers who had witnessed the outstanding contributions of budding professionals.

The Placement Year Awards not only showcased the quality of talent but also demonstrated the commitment of Nottingham University Business School to prepare students for success in the professional world. The event demonstrated the strong partnerships between academia and industry, creating an environment where excellence is recognised and celebrated.

As the winners take pride in their well-deserved recognition, we look forward to inspiring future generations of students to strive for excellence during their industry placements.
