Nottingham University Business School is proud to partner with award winning digital agency Impression to present a free half day workshop on digital marketing in the modern age. This FREE workshop is exclusive to alumni and business associates of The University of Nottingham and takes place right in the heart of London.

Join us as we take you through your digital opportunity. You can expect to leave with clear, tangible tips and practical advice to apply in your own business. You’ll learn about SEO, PPC, digital PR and content marketing and how to identify the best channels for you. If you’re looking to grow your business online, this is the event for you.

Laura Hampton, Your Digital Opportunity

Laura Hampton, digital marketing manager at Impression, will provide an overview of the different techniques and tools available to today’s marketer. She’ll provide an introduction to best practice and future-thinking SEO (search engine optimisation), PPC (paid advertising), digital PR and content marketing. Laura will also share case studies from Impression clients to show the potential around investing in digital today.

Aaron Dicks, The Increasing Value of Technical SEO

Aaron Dicks, Managing Director of Impression, will present a session looking at the ongoing importance of on-site factors in helping your website get found through search. He’ll discuss best practice techniques with proven examples, alongside his predictions for the methods savvy marketers will use into the future to help their business grow. You’ll leave with practical tips to apply in your own business.

Liam Wade, Profitable Investment in PPC

Liam Wade, PPC Manager at Impression, presents a guide to making more of your advertising budget. He’ll explain how to choose the right platforms for your business to advertise on, how to assign budget intelligently and how to manage campaigns for maximum return. You’ll learn practical tips to help you achieve a better return on advertising spend (ROAS) across platforms including Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook, Twitter and niche channels.

The workshop will run from 9am to 12pm with a refreshment break mid-way and a buffet lunch provided after the session for those who wish to stay and network. You’ll be welcome to ask questions throughout and the team will ensure you leave with clear, tangible tips to apply within your own businesses.
