Engaging with our students

There are many ways for you to engage with our students whether you want to focus on promoting your business or working in partnership with us to deliver employability enhancing activities for our students.  We are also happy to support you in realising completely new and innovative ideas.

Promote your business

We can help you to promote your business to our students through:

• direct marketing ─ targeted emails, posters etc
• holding your own recruitment events ─ presentation about your business, drop in sessions etc
• taking part in one of our recruitment fairs

Our Events and Vacancies team can also help you to organise bespoke events to promote your business.

Work more closely with us and our students, compliment your campus activities and raise your profile by having an entry in the Nottingham Handbook, 4,000 copies of which go out to Nottingham students. Contact us for more information.

Working with us

Working in partnership with us offers you a chance to get involved in a more creative way. You can:

• run a ‘Careers In...’ presentation to tell students about working in your industry. E.g. Advertising, Journalism, Corporate Law and Third sector.
• deliver a skills workshop that focuses on particular skills that employers are looking for in graduates. E.g. Applications forms, Interviews, Assessment Centres and Presentations skills. 
• get involved with the Nottingham Advantage Award ─ a popular extra curricular programme that helps students to develop their employability by reflecting on real life experiences and making the most of their work experience.
• develop internship and placement programmes with your business for students and graduates from Nottingham, giving you the opportunity to 'try before you buy' and also providing students with first hand experience of what you are looking for.
