Abigail Barr on the Human Zoo

Dr Abigail Barr talks about fairness and the differences across cultures on Radio 4's The Human Zoo - series 3, episode 3, first broadcast on 28 January 2014.  Abigail is part of a project which was funded in 1997 by the National Science Foundation and which she is following up as part of her work in the Network for Integrated Behavioural Science (NIBS), funded by the ESRC and based in the Nottingham School of Economics.  More on Abigail’s work can be found in the forthcoming book Experimenting with Social Norms: Fairness and Punishment in a Cross-Cultural Perspective edited by Jean Ensminger and Joseph Henrich which is currently available for preview.
