The Centre for Design Research and Experimental Economics is delighted to announce a visit by Professor Vernon L Smith, Professor of Economics and Law, George L. Argyros Endowed Chair in Finance and Economics.
Professor Vernon L. Smith was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences in 2002 for his ground-breaking work in experimental economics. He has authored or co-authored more than 300 articles and books on capital theory, finance, natural resource economics and experimental economics.
He will be visiting the School of Economics on Wednesday 6 December 2017. The day’s activities will consist of:
- a morning workshop (programme available)
- the CeDEx Seminar by Michele Bernasconi (Ca' Foscari University of Venice) at 2pm in A40 Sir Clive Granger Building
- a talk by Professor Vernon Smith at 3.30pm in A48 Sir Clive Granger Building (open to all subject to availability on a first come-first served basis).
