Our weekly academic drop-in sessions give you the opportunity to chat with an English for Academic Purposes tutor about queries and concerns you have about academic, language and communication skills.

 

Drop-in details

Our drop-in sessions are 15 minutes each and offer expert guidance for:

  • succeeding on your written assignments (planning, drafting and revising)
  • effective preparation for exams and other types of assessments
  • effective presentation preparation (design, delivery and dealing with Q&As)
  • understanding and responding to tutor feedback
  • academic integrity and use of sources/referencing

  • Term 3 (for Faculty of Social Sciences only)
    Week commencing 29 April to week commencing 22 July 2024 (excluding the following Wednesdays: 29 May, 12 June and 3 July)

All students are welcome, but we would particularly like to invite:
