The Centre for English Language Education (CELE) is an international centre based on three campuses, the UK, Malaysia and China, offering a whole range of programmes from English preparation courses for international students to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and research degrees in the areas of English for Academic Purposes, Academic Literacy, English for Professional Purposes, Intercultural Communication and teacher training. We pride ourselves on high quality teaching which is informed by research conducted by our well qualified and experienced staff.

CELE has spent over twenty years building a reputation as a student-centred organisation committed to empowering its students to succeed in their chosen academic and professional fields. As an international centre, we welcome students, teachers, researchers and visitors from around the world.
