Description

The speaker for our public lecture will be Richard Barwell, Senior European Economist from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) with 'The life and times of an investment bank economist'.   

Richard will talk a little bit about what he does for a job and why, and spend some time talking about interesting economic policy questions that you may read about in the press, such as

• The economics of tuition fees
• Quantitative Easing: does it work
• Did austerity work?
• The European debt crisis.

This is a public lecture and everyone is welcome
