Chemistry at Nottingham Joint Third in the Russell Group Student Satisfaction

The results of the 2015 National Student Survey (NSS) places Nottingham in the top three Schools of Chemistry within the Russell Group, with 95% of Chemistry students satisfied with the quality of their degree.

The NSS data show that Chemistry students at Nottingham find their degrees intellectually stimulating, delivered by enthusiastic staff in an environment with the very best facilities and top-notch student support.

It’s an exciting time for Chemistry at Nottingham with major initiatives that will provide Chemistry students with the very best experience for their undergraduate studies. Current investments include:

  • A new teaching laboratory that will be fully equipped with cutting-edge, industry-standard instrumentation, as used for research in the chemical industry. The new laboratories will be complete by September 2015.
  •  A new Carbon Neutral Laboratory that is due for completion in 2016.
  •  A new Science and Engineering Library that will open in Autumn 2015.
  •  A new state-of-the-art £40 million Sports Village that will help take sport at Nottingham right to the top. The Sports Village will be a fantastic new addition to University Park Campus providing all our sports teams and clubs with a great range of innovative new facilities in a lively and inclusive environment.
