Professor Tony Stace
Professor Tony Stace has been awarded the Aston medal from the British Mass Spectrometry Society for an outstanding contribution to scientific knowledge relating to mass spectrometry.
Professor Stace’s work involves the development and application to new mass spectrometric methods to the study of clusters, which are finite-sized collections of atoms or molecules that can be prepared in the gas phase and are used to examine how the physical and chemical properties of bulk materials evolve as a function of their size
