The group focuses on the development of theoretical and computational chemistry and on an ambitious range of applications applications to provide novel insights into:

• molecular structure and properties associated with carbon sequestration
• novel nanomaterials for energy storage
• spectroscopy of complex (bio)molecular systems
• computer-aided molecular design, including new materials, catalysts and lead discovery/ development in a pharmaceutical setting
