East Midlands Chemistry Using Business Forum, 17th September 2013 

Formed in response to demand from Chemistry using businesses and supported by professional organisations, the EMCUBF gives you the platform to learn about the latest developments and discuss key challenges and opportunities of relevance to your company.

This inaugural meeting will focus on developing overseas opportunities for your business and identifying potential future topics for the forum.

 

  

Chemical Industries Association (CIA) regional ‘Networking and Information’ meeting on Tuesday 21st May 2013 in the School of Chemistry. 

Speakers will cover topics such as University support for innovation, energy and climate change, and the health & safety and environmental issues surrounding chemical products.   During the course of the event there will also be the opportunity to find out about the services offered both by the Business Partnership Unit in the School of Chemistry and the CIA.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with other representatives of chemistry using businesses from the region and receive advanced information for the first meeting of the newly formed ‘East Midlands Chemistry Using Business Cluster’.  There will also be an opportunity to see some of the research activities and facilities in the School of Chemistry.

 

NMR Spectroscopy Group Symposium, 21 November 2011

A one day event exploring the University’s NMR capability and its potential impact on your business.  This meeting, with multidisciplinary appeal relevant to food sciences, materials, pharma, catalysis and biomedical sectors, will include speakers from the University and industry.  Free to register and attend.

Launch Event

BioCity Nottingham

The Chemistry Innovation Laboratory will be formally launched on Thursday 3rd March 2011. The event will take place at BioCity between 5.30 and 7.30 pm. A detailed programme will follow in early February.
