Description

Nottingham Institute for Research in Visual Culture

This week the Nottingham Institute for Research in Visual Culture (NIRVC) invites Helen Shaw (University of York) to discuss: Matters of the Avant-Garde: reconsidering West Coast and European ceramics from the late 50s and 60s.

The NIRVC is a forum for research in art-historical and visual culture studies, drawing on a range of disciplines, within and beyond the university. On each occasion an invited speaker presents an hour-long seminar on the topic of their current research, with time afterwards for questions. All the seminars are free and open to everyone.
