Biography

I have a BA in International Media and Communication from the University of Nottingham (Hons), and an MA in Film Studies from UCL (Distinction). I'm currently a PhD candidate in Film and Television Studies at Department of Cultural, Media and Visual Studies, University of Nottingham.

Research Summary

My current research focuses on the cultural life of Intellectual Property of Journey to the West, with a specific interest in film, televisual and spatial adaptations and branded entertainments in contemporary screen and cultural industries within and outside the Chinese contexts from the 1990s to the present.
