A glimpse into Prof Steve Benford's interdisciplinary research

steveBenford

Our very own Professor Steve Benford was recently appointed as Digital Futures Global Research Theme (GRT) lead.

Steve's most important and challenging  goal as lead for the Global Research Theme (GRT) in Digital Futures involves bridging research into digital technologies with other disciplines whose research is done through digital technologies. The Horizon Digital Economy Research Centre is an important meeting place where interdisciplinary research between computer scientists and researchers from a multitude of backgrounds can come together and forge the digital future. It is a result of this vision that the Horizon Centre for Doctoral Training exists, to take graduates from a variety of backgrounds and mould them into the interdisciplinarians of tomorrow.
