Staff, researchers and students from the School of Computer Science recently spent a day at Firbeck Academy in Wollaton running an ‘ICT WOW’ day for all the pupils in the school.
A range of fun computing activities were put on for the children: from learning to debug programs in Scratch, to building 3D models in computers and taking part in role-play activities to learn about e-safety.
The children particularly enjoyed learning about problem solving using the Rubik’s Cube-solving Lego robot!
