Access to libraries over the Easter vacation

Wednesday, 24 March 2021
Libraries will be open for essential access to study space and resources during the Easter Vacation but there will be some changes to opening times.

All university libraries will be closed from Friday 2 – Monday 5 April, with most re-opening on Tuesday 6 April from 9am – 5pm. The Music Library will remain closed.

There will be some further changes to opening hours during the vacation period at Denis Arnold Music Library and Hallward Library. There will also be some disruption at Hallward Library due to ongoing maintenance work. Please check the individual library webpage before you visit.

Our online resources and support materials will remain available during the closure period.

Available in libraries

In line with government guidance, we ask that you only visit our libraries when essential, for example if you don’t have access to appropriate study space elsewhere.

Don’t forget to follow the essential Covid-19 safety measures when using our libraries. Anyone failing to follow these measures will be asked to leave the library and will be unable to book study space for seven days.

Support for your studies

Whether you’re on campus or studying remotely, Library staff are available to support you with accessing the resources, information and services you need:

For more information about available services, please visit the Libraries website.
