Endometriosis support and awareness

Friday, 01 December 2023
Join this lunchtime seminar and learn about this often poorly understood, undiagnosed and rarely discussed condition.

EndoConnect is a new group for staff and students, aiming to raise awareness and provide support and information about endometriosis, a condition impacting over 1 in 10 women but often poorly understood, undiagnosed and rarely discussed.

Professor Saad Amer, a highly experienced consultant gynaecologist specialising in endometriosis and menstrual disorders will lead this project’s first lunchtime seminar.

This event takes place at 12pm on Tuesday 5 December in A17 Plant Science Building, Sutton Bonington campus. The talk will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity for informal conversation.

The event is open to all and no booking is required. A Teams link and a recording of the talk will be posted on the project website.
