Nottingham Advantage Award

Wednesday, 28 September 2022
Boost your employability with the Advantage Award.

The Award is the university’s free employability scheme that helps you prepare for the job market and formally recognises your extracurricular activities.  It can also support you in making career choices.

By participating you can:

  • Get recognition for your extra-curricular activities
  • Get experience and skills for the workplace
  • Get connected with employers and other students

Undergraduate students

You can participate in up to three modules by the end of spring term of your final year, with a maximum of two modules each academic year.
Applications for modules starting in autumn term are now open. Spring term starting module applications will open on 1 November.

Find a module for you by browsing the catalogue. Once you are accepted onto your first module you are confirmed on the scheme.

For more information, view the webpage or attend one of our appointments or events.

Postgraduate students

There is a separate postgraduate Advantage Award for Masters and PhD students at the university. This helps you to showcase your extra-curricular activities as well as what it means to be a postgraduate student at Nottingham.

The Nottingham Postgraduate Advantage Award - NPAA - allows you to undertake a more postgraduate-focused scheme, which will hopefully fit more easily around your timetable.
Find out more by browsing the module catalogue, viewing the webpage or attending one of our appointments or events.
