Resit support from Libraries

Tuesday, 03 August 2021
If you're taking resits this summer, our Libraries team are here to support and prepare you.

As resits approach, the libraries team are running support sessions and have dedicated support resources. You can find more information below or by visiting Libraries' exam page.

Book your study space

You can book two three-hour slots per day at our libraries in the individual study spaces. We are reintroducing drop-in study spaces in our libraries, including group study. Book your study space in advance online using Click and Study or drop-in to use available non-bookable spaces.

In line with government guidelines social distancing measures are no longer mandatory, however the government expects and recommends that you wear face coverings in crowded and enclosed spaces.

Food cannot be eaten in our libraries, however, you are welcome to bring in drinks.

Visit Safety on Campus for guidance on staying safe.

Study With Us Online – virtual study sessions

Studying from home or just finding it hard to focus?

Join the Study With Us community for two hours of structured study time alongside other students from across the University. The sessions use the Pomodoro technique to help you break down your work into manageable intervals. Just bring along some reading or writing to work on.

The sessions take place every Wednesday from 11am – 1pm.

Accessing library resources

We’ve made it easier than ever to access and borrow items from our library collections, no matter where you are:

If you can’t find the resource you need in our collections, we can help. Find out more about our More Books and Interlibrary loans services or contact the Library Helpline.

Webinars and academic skills resources

Prepare for your assessments with our faculty-specific resources and webinars, including answering exam questions, proof-reading and more.

Our Library staff are here to support you with your studies. Contact the Library Helpline by email, phone or Live Chat. You can also access a variety of wellbeing support including tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and advice on managing exam stress.
