These modules offer credits alongside the chance for students to globalise their degrees. Modules can focus on a range of stages of language learning from stage 1a (complete beginners) all the way up to Stage 6 (near native speaker competence).  your skill in your chosen language will be initially assessed by your language tutor and this will inform what level you study at.

There are a range of languages on offer from the centre including Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Russian and Spanish. Different languages are available at different levels with different topics and approaches to each language and level.

The Language Centre also supports opportunities for self study through their Self Access Centre (S.A.C.). The S.A.C. houses a range of facilities including a number of computers with headphones, Access to worldwide TV channels and 24 hour news channels. As well as course books, Dictionaries and international newspapers and magazines for students looking to practice.

In order to enrol on one of these courses you must attend an enrolment session, details of which can be found on the language centres official site. The final session and deadline to enrol on this programme is January 29 between 1pm-4pm.
