We recently wrote about the university’s position on the misuse of AI in your assessments and some of the potential consequences of doing so.
Our Learning Development team within Libraries has now put together a short training resource on the use of AI technologies such as ChatGPT – it takes just 10 minutes to complete.

The guidance covers some of the limitations of AI tools such as ChatGPT – including their probability-based text generation model, inherent ethical problems, as well as engrained biases – but also provides some advice on areas of your studies where they may be used constructively.
