Biography

Oliver maintains primary research interests in the economic analysis of aid, taxation and trade performance and policy, especially in Africa, and analysis of African household surveys. He joined Nottingham in 1989 and was promoted to his current position in 2004. He has published many articles in international journals, mostly on aid policy and effectiveness , trade policy reform , conditionality and adjustment, and supply response in agriculture.
