Storysmash Festival

storysmash 

 

Storysmash is an exciting project delivered by Nottingham City Council Libraries in partnership with The National Videogame Foundation and Nottingham UNESCO City of Literature that began in early 2017 focusing on getting more young people to engage with libraries and with creative writing. By allowing for the young people themselves to create in a unique way, Storysmash provides an insight into the fun and challenge of developing a story.

  • Storysmash Festival is a celebration of writing and gaming inspiring the next generation of creatives with author masterclasses, workshops and interactive game play
  • The festival consist of six celebrated authors and writers
  • It takes place on Friday 23 February, 1pm-6pm at Nottingham Conference Centre
  • The festival is free to anyone aged 11-99 years who wants to attend
