Biography
Originally from Nottingham, I have been teaching since 1993 and spent the first ten years of my teaching career in Barcelona, where I also worked on developing websites for language schools and small businesses. On returning to the UK I worked at Nottingham Trent University, where I also completed the DELTA qualification and earned an MA in English Language Teaching. I then became a tutor and Learning Resources Coordinator at the University of Birmingham's English for International Students Unit, before returning to my home town in 2011 to take up a teaching post at the University of Nottingham. I was CELE's Course Leader for Summer Presessional Programmes from 2015 to 2020 and am currently working as the Centre's Test Lead, in addition to teaching duties.
