Biography
My career as an English language teacher began in 1988 in Turkey where I also became a lecturer in academic English at Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir. Since then I have taught in Italy, Sri Lanka and Hungary and at Oxford Brookes University (teacher), the University of Reading (teacher), the University of Bradford (senior lecturer), the University of Glasgow (EFL Director of Studies) and the University of Nottingham (Head of Centre).
