Engineering Research Staff Group

The Engineering Research Staff Group (ERSG) was initiated in 2009 with the support of senior academics within the Faculty of Engineering. The ERSG is primarily tasked with representing the needs, thoughts and issues of the Researcher community within the Faculty and providing a clear and transparent communication and dissemination structure. Membership is free and automatic for all Faculty of Engineering research staff.

The ERSG has regular Open and Committee meetings during which issues and discussion points are raised and disseminated. The ERSG follows the Faculty Research Division structure: each division has a representative on the ERSG Committee.

The ERSG has connections to or seats on several other groups and bodies within the Faculty and the University, currently including: Research Only Staff Group (RoSG), The Engineering Graduate Centre (EGC), Faculty Research Committee, All Divisional Staff Committees , The University Senate, The Senior Researchers Group and the University and College Union (UCU).
