About the Conference

The Nottingham Centre for Geomechanics (NCG) is pleased to host the 3rd International Workshop on Modern Trends in Geomechanics (IW- MTG3). The previous two workshops in this series were successfully held in Vienna (2005) and Stanford (2010).

The format of IW-MTG3 will follow the established workshop tradition in which presentations are given by invited leading experts in the field of geomechanics. About 40 speakers will be invited to present at the two-day workshop. Research students are also encouraged to attend the workshop so that they can present their work within a poster session.
