Welcome to all our new research students who will be joining us to start a PhD in the School of English Studies at The University of Nottingham this September.
You will shortly be receiving an information pack from the School with details of the induction and welcome events that will be taking place when you arrive in Nottingham for the start of term on Monday, 20 September 2010. If you have not received your information pack by 6 September 2010 please contact Michelle Dorman, our Postgraduate Administrator (international students should allow more time for delivery and contact the School by 13 September 2010.)
In the meantime, please note that there will be a welcome and induction event for all PhD student on Wednesday, 22 September between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm in room A54, Trent Building (no. 11 on the University map). During this induction session you will meet your Supervisors and other representatives from the University who will provide you with more information that will be helpful during your time as a research student in the School.
