Creating and validating diagnostic tests for L2 English: Word parts and guessing from context

This is a special presentation by an Applied Linguistics researcher from Japan, Yosuke Sasao. His research concerns testing morphological knowledge and language learners’ ability to guess from vocabulary context. The presentation is hosted by the Vocabulary Discussion Group but is open to all staff and students.
