Description

Nottingham Poetry Series: Through a monthly programme of seminars, performance evenings, and a reading group, the Nottingham Poetry Series aims to galvanize  conversations and enthusiasms about poetry from the Viking, Medieval, C18th, Romantic, Victorian, Modern, and contemporary periods, as well as poetries in languages other than English and works in translation. The series is supported by the School of English, Centre for Regional Literature and Culture, and Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee.

The first event of the Nottingham Poetry Series takes place this Thursday, 17th November, at 6pm in room LG9, Trent Building. Dr Bridget Vincent will be presenting a paper entitled ‘Some Legacies of Geoffrey Hill’. Please join us for this stimulating talk. Refreshments will be provided. All welcome, no RSVP required.
