Responsible for the strategic planning function of all Estates activities, and controls the resources allocated to Estates to meet the changing needs and demands for space and facilities.
Andy Nolan, Development and Sustainability Director
Responsible for strategy, further developing and embedding sustainability to improve the University’s campus, curriculum and community. Andy has operational responsibilities that include energy procurement, building management system, carbon management, waste and recycling, travel, travel planning.

Amanda Pettingill, Catering, Hospitality and Conferencing Director
Responsible for Catering, Hospitality & Conferencing within the University. Amanda’s operational and strategic responsibilities include Halls management, in house and outsourced catering, bars and hospitality services. The University’s two hotels; East Midlands and Jubilee Conference Centres operated in conjunction with Devere Hotels also form part of Amanda’s remit.

Responsible for Estates Maintenance Services (EMS), Helpdesk, Security Services, Grounds, Domestic Services including Mailroom, Transport and Logistics, and the UoN Farm and Dairy Centre.
