Deputy Director of Procurement, Financial & Business Services
Main areas of responsibility:
Deputises and supports the Director of Procurement to adopt and develop procurement best practice to maximise the value of a centralised corporate procurement function.
The primary responsibility for this role is to lead procurement support for school and department research projects and in particular to carry out large complex and business critical procurements for funded research.
This role is also responsible for delivering continuous improvement for Procurement within Schools, leading initiatives to develop procurement processes, systems and ways of working with a particular focus on improving compliance and commercial awareness.
