The University of Nottingham's inaugural Knowledge Exchange and Innovation Awards showcased the impact of University research on business and society.
Incorporating projects from all of the University’s faculties and its campuses in the UK, China and Malaysia, the Awards highlighted numerous examples of the vast breadth and diversity of the work of academics.

Enterprise Dinner
For many years the University has held a biennial spin-out dinner to celebrate the success of its businesses and to bring together academic entrepreneurs with investors and others who have been involved in supporting the businesses.
In 2015, the University’s spin-out dinner evolved to the enterprise dinner – to showcase both academic and student enterprise. This was an occasion to celebrate entrepreneurship and enterprise activities across the University. The dinner will be a regular event in the calendar, every other year, providing the opportunity to recognise those students and academics who have achieved success through their entrepreneurial and innovative activities.
