GEP has established a branch at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC). GEP runs a major international annual conference at The University of Nottingham's campus in Ningbo, as well as seminars, workshops and the World Economy Annual China Lecture. The local co-ordinator of GEP in China is Dr Chang Liu. The conference and seminar co-ordinator is Dr Yibai Yang.
