IUVNU Partnership

Partnership with International University - Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City

The University of Nottingham and International University (IU-VNU) have worked together since 2009 to deliver an innovative undergraduate articulation programme. 

Students beging their studies at IU-VNU before progressing on to complete their studies at either of Nottingham's UK or Malaysia campuses. 

Over 100 students have participated in the partnership, with the two Universities renewing the agreement for a further five years in 2019.

Partnership detail

Our articulation agreement allows students on different programmes at IU-VNU to progress onto related programmes at Nottingham. Students will spend two years studying in Vietnam and then a further two years either in the UK or Malaysia.

About IU-VNU

Founded in 2003, IU-VNU is the first public multidisciplinary university in Vietnam to use English as the primary language in teaching and research. IU-VNU is a member of Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City. It provides accredited higher education programs from Bachelor to PhD level in wide variety of areas, ranging from Business, Engineering to Science and Technology.

There are currently 20 Bachelor programs, 8 Master programs and 2 Doctoral programs, with more than 7,000 undergraduate students and 800 postgraduate students. Alongside with programs whose degrees are conferred by IU-VNU, we have nearly 20 twinning programs with prestigious universities worldwide, including those from US, UK, Australia, New Zealand. IU has successfully completed the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) assessment at institutional level and has 11 training programs assessed by the AUN-QA. Additionally, 2 engineering programs of IU-VNU, one of which is Electrical Engineering program, have been accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET Organization.
