Description

Inaugural lecture: Professor Simon Mosey, Director of the Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Chaired by Professor Martin Binks, Dean of Nottingham University Business School

Drawing upon the Haydn Green Institute's research, Professor Simon Mosey demonstrates that technology entrepreneurs are not unique individuals that can see the future.

Rather technology entrepreneurship is where diverse teams use their ingenuity to try out many different possibilities, most of which will be unsuccessful. He shows how such ingenuity can be learnt and shares some of the ways in which the institute is supporting technology entrepreneurship on an unprecedented scale.

The format for the event is as follows:

5.30pm – Registration and light refreshments
6.00pm – Introduction by Professor Martin Binks
6.05pm – Seminar commences
6.45pm – Networking and buffet

Venue
: LT2, The Exchange, Jubilee Campus, Nottingham, NG8 1BB.
