Description

hallward exhibition

Hallward Library will be hosting an exhibition about the Kindertransports. The exhibition is part of a project by Amy Williams, a second year Holocaust Studies PHD student, funded by Midlands3Cities/AHRC

Amy's research centres around the differing national and international memories of the Kindertransport, the rescue of Jewish children from Nazism (1938-1939) but also the effects of this transplantation to a strange environment. The exhibition is part of a body of work created by the Holocaust Centre based in Newark, Nottinghamshire and the Journey to Justice organisation.

This exhibition is free of charge and all are welcome. For more information, please email Jessie.Eaton@nottingham.ac.uk.

Please note that Hallward Library is closed from Friday 14 April - Monday 17 April inclusive for the Easter weekend.
