Description
Creating Hostile Environments

On 16 November, the HRLC's Forced Migration Unit will be hosting a guest seminar on 'Creating Hostile Environments'.

This event will explore how current historical governmental policies, approaches and measures attempt to create hostile environments for migrants and asylum seekers in the United Kingdom.

This event is held in collaboration with Criminal Justice Research Centre (CJRC) and the Identities, Citizenship, Equalities and Migration Centre (ICEMiC).

Speakers include: Gabrielle Stapleton and Dr Tom Kemp.

The event will take place from 1:30-2:30pm (GMT).

Join us on campus in room E07, in the Monica Partridge building.

For those unable to attend in person, we will be broadcasting the event online, via MS Teams.
