HRLC Fellow appointed Commissioner for Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights

HRLC is pleased to announce that Mervat Rishmawi, a Fellow of the Centre, has been selected to join the Board of Commissioners for the National Human Rights Institutions (NHRI) of Palestine, the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR).

We congratulate Mervat on her appointment to one of the world's most highly regarded and respected NHRIs.  The ICHR works towards a free Palestinian society with inherent values of justice, equality, freedom and human rights.
