Prof. Dominic McGoldrick is the new Editor in Chief of the Human Rights Law Review

Professor Dominic McGoldrick, Head of HRLC’s Civil and Political Rights Unit and former Co-Director of HRLC, has been appointed as the new Editor in Chief of the Human Rights Law Review (HRLR), published by Oxford University Press.

Professor David Harris, HRLC Co-Director, launched the HRLR in 2001. Under his leadership for the past 20 years, the HRLR has become one of the most respected and cited specialist academic journals promoting awareness, knowledge and discussion on matters of human rights law and policy. Sangeeta Shah has played a major role as co-editor with Professor McGoldrick of the Shorter Articles and Recent Developments Section of the Review. Carla Buckley, HRLC Research Fellow, has supported the journal’s growth and success in her role as Associate Editor for most of its journey.

The HRLR will remain a flagship publication of the University of Nottingham Human Rights Law Centre and School of Law, with Professor Harris and Sangeeta Shah being members of the Editorial Board, together with Professor Aoife Nolan, and Dr Hemi Mistry continuing as Book Review Editor.

Professor McGoldrick will be joined by Professor Fiona De Londras, University of Birmingham, and Dr Shreya Atrey, University of Oxford, as Editors.
